A Unique Athlete

Good morning, saints! As we step out into today to carry out our Father’s will, His plan, His purpose for us in life, I want to encourage your heart that you have been gifted through your faith in Jesus with special spiritual gifting that our Father can work through in you to minister to others in this world! There are different spiritual gifts for different believers. They are gifted by the Holy Spirit just for believers and your own just for YOU and mixed in with your personality, other talents and how you have been created, that makes YOU one very unique athlete, equipped to run your road of purpose as only YOU can! AND with our Father’s powerful Holy Spirit working through you, YOU CAN make a difference in this world! He will provide as you seek first Him first in life. He says seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. We already have the righteousness of Christ as believers so we don’t need to worry about having to perform good enough in order to get His help. If we step out and seek Him, casting our cares on Him and giving Him what we have, He will provide the rest! Each one of us are a special part of the body of Christ (the church) and we should not expect that each one of us will have the same part! Our Father places us in different places and different roles as He sees is the very best. However, just because we do not have a particular gift does not mean that there will not be times when God does desire you to carry out a particular task. For example, not everybody has the gift of evangelism, but we are all responsible for the great commission as believers! God will give you a passion for using your giftedness, your sweet spot in life. However, there may be some things that we don’t necessarily love doing, but some things in life that we need to step in and do when needed to. For example: Changing those messy diapers in the nursery may not be anybody’s favorite thing to do, but you may be put in a position to do so at times. Those called to a ministry to children will have a heart of passion to do so because they will see it with compassion and joy to minister to a child! It is important to remember that none of us are the body all by ourselves and it is also important that we not think more of ourselves than we ought to. Spiritual gifts are chosen by God. They are equally important so jealousy towards another person’s gifts need not be. As a saint, you can have more than one gift and they can change or be flamed into action more at one time than another. God is our enabler who gives us what we need to accomplish what He wants to accomplish through us and when and where. Now how exciting is all of that to be a part of something soooo divine as all of that! YOU are a difference maker! The world needs you to do your part! Finding your spiritual gift(s) takes time. There are online tests you can take, but they are not all-inclusive. Experience that comes from stepping out and trying some different areas of ministry you think you may be drawn to is necessary to affirm our true gifts. Ask God to reveal the reality of your giftedness in that area. When you are using your gifts, you will enjoy it and when people are saying or showing that what you are doing is bearing fruit in their lives or saying that you are good at doing something in particular, these are indicators that you are working in your area(s) of giftedness. You will not learn this apart from trying. I’m a gal doing my part with ya and loving every minute of it! I’m proud of ya for stepping out and sharing YOU with others!!! Keep going!!!!! Many need ya!
