The Need for Water

Today I am amazed at the whole issue of water. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. He rose up an expanse between the waters to separate water from water. He made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And God called the expanse “sky.” Then He gathered the waters under the sky to one place and let dry ground appear. He called the dry ground land and the gathered waters “seas.” God has given us water because we need it desperately! Wow! We all need water for various reasons in life. Our bodies are made up of mostly water and it is healthy to drink in lots of good water every day for physical well-being. We also all have spiritual needs for the living waters of our Father’s Holy Spirit that dwells as a reservoir in each heart of us as His kids who are born again by water and His Spirit through faith in Jesus! His Spirit within us guides us in the Truth of Jesus who was from the beginning and still is the Word of God that became flesh and died on the cross to rescue us from our sins and to rescue us from death so that we can have everlasting life forever in His Kingdom with Him! His Word that is written down by His Spirit of living waters working through those that has given us the Bible is “alive and powerful! It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”  “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”  Part of that doing what is right is to realize His Truth found in His Word that also reassures us all of how we are all forgiven in Christ Jesus through faith and not by works and how very much He loves us with His unfailing, unconditional perfect love! Now that right there is crucial to our well being in life for sure! Every person has different needs that call for sooooooooooooooooo many individual specific fills of our Father’s Truths through His Spirit of living waters. Now how amazing is all of that and that our Father is so powerful that He can fill us each up not only to meet our physical needs for water, but in just the right way that He knows we each have individual need for the living waters of His Spirit as revealed through His Truths from His Word to us! Wow! There is definitely something in the water our Father provides and it is powerful, divine and life changing! To be healthy, let’s all drink in lots of water for our bodies and for our souls! It’s the “aaaahhhh” we all need daily in life! Water is essential to life – both physical and of the Spirit of God! Jesus said it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.” “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.”When He, The Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all Truth.”

Got faith in Jesus? We all need His waters flowing in us to satisfy our needs! Drink in of Him! I’m a gal drinking in from the fountain of Him with ya! You can taste the difference He makes in life!!!

“If anyone is thirsty let Him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” Whoever is thirsty, let Him come; and whoever wishes, let them take the free gift of the water of life.”
