I often chuckle and often think I wish I could go back and relive life with what I learned thus far in life, not that I have arrived by any means, but life is a growth process and experiences teaches us a lot! I am thankful to be where I am today, though and certainly appreciate where I have been. God uses it all! However, I know I have much more to learn in life and my Father is continually teaching us all new things and conforming us more and more to the image of Christ through life experiences. This is something that He does as He works in us to teach us and provides us His Spirit to will and to act according to His good purpose for each one of us individually. He is always working good in all circumstances in our lives! He is good all the time and all the time, God is good! He loves it when we do good things with our lives and help each other in life. It brings enjoyment in life as we enjoy the gift of each other and Him in our lives! He tells us in His Word that the person that refreshes others is refreshed themselves! That is Truth as long as we are taking time to rest in balance as well! Balance in life feels just right!!! We are His workmanship and He created us to do good works, but good works do not save us – Jesus’ grace through His death on the cross saves us!!! So, given that, good works are good only if we have the right motive in doing them. If we do them with a motive of seeking salvation beyond what Christ did on the cross, we are missing the point of Jesus and in essence saying that He died in vain for it says that we must work to be saved beyond Christ to be saved and that is not true. If we are doing good works out of compulsion, we need to check our motives. Who or what are we doing them for? If it is for anybody or anything other than for our Father, we need to check our motives and our idols. Even if we have authorities in our lives, our motive for helping them should be out of love for our Father! Our Father loves a cheerful giver who has a heart of serving out of a love for Him in life! When you are working out of love for Him, knowing you are saved by grace and resting in that, but stepping out into life to bless others because you want to work in your sweet spot of gifting in life to make a difference in this world, then that is a good divine thing! Our Father gives us lots of resources in life to help us do so and Godly counsel in life is a good thing, too! As He says, many advisors in life make victory sure, but if we think we need another resource over the Bible to tell us how to be saved and get to heaven, I would question that seriously!!! It is, however, very important to look at our Father’s Word the Bible as a whole and not take things out of context. Salvation is spelled out this way “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” The last book of the Bible called Revelation says His Word is completed with it’s completion as written as is. Given all of this, let’s keep learning and growing in Christ Jesus, but celebrate that we are saved by Christ! Nobody can earn heaven based upon performance in keeping all the Laws in the Bible!!!! That’s why Christ died on the cross! Know you are loved with unconditional love by the God of the Universe through your faith in Jesus!!! Love and blessings to you all!!!!!!!! Have a peaceful night! Rest in the gift of grace and salvation through Jesus and move out in life with grace and a cheerful heart out of love for Him as your heart calls ya in godly wisdom!!! Loving Jesus with ya!!!
