A Hand to Hold

Hi, again! It’s yer ole’ friend again and I have been wanting to share some thoughts with you all about fear. Fear is important to recognize in life and Jesus knew this because He said it on many occasions to people “Do not be afraid” “Do not fear.” If we as our Father’s kids want to join God in His purpose for our lives, we have to be willing to step out and trust God to give you the power for victory! Victory is a thought that sure makes me smile!!! I pray when I am struggling with fear, that fear will not be an issue that will paralyze me. Do you ever have fears? There are a few thoughts that seem to help me in these times and I want to share a few of them over time. One thought that has helped me are the words God speaks in Isaiah 41:9-10 to His servant:

“You are my servant; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Now how comforting is that to know that the God of the Universe who loves us with perfect love is holding our hand all through life! You can’t get more security than that, dear saints! We never have to go life alone, but rather we can do life having the smartest know all guide for all of life leading us by the hand!!! Dang!!! Blessed kids are we to have that!!! I’m a gal stepping out into life hanging on to Him and trusting Him! He knows the best way for each of us and He says:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
