The Pursuit of Pleasing God

I recently shared a thought about fear as we previously pondered our Father’s Word together and I want to share a second aspect of fear that can result when we as our Father’s kids fear people over reverencing our Father. Yikes! To seek to follow our Father’s plans for us in life will always bring us His best. His promise to us is this:

“For I know the plans that I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

“He beckons us to not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of your minds.”

We renew our minds through the study of His Word (the Bible). We are already saved by grace and we do not have to work to please God enough to have salvation from sin and death and forever life in His Kingdom, but He does give us His plan for the best life and when we choose to walk in His ways, we set ourselves up for the best in life! If you are in fear of a person(s), please trust in Jesus in that situation! His plan for you will bring you deliverance upon your life as you step in His direction! Pray and ask Him to give you courage to step out for Him! He will help you and strengthen you! The Apostle Paul understood this when he said “…We are not trying to please men (people) but God, who tests our hearts.”

Go with Jesus, He will always see you through and you will be a light to help others for Jesus as ya do! Woohoo! That thought just makes me smile!!!
