The River of Peace and Joy

Midday greetings to ya all, you awesome family!!!!!!! I hope you are having a day full of our Father’s peace and joy as that is the heart of our Father for you as He says:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.”

Philippians 4:6-8

Woohoo! I am doing great in life right now, but someone contacted me today full of stress! Yikes! Life can sometimes become  a real tornado, a whirlwind of lots of people wanting all kinds of things all right now. YIKEAROOS! So, what do ya do in those times so ya can keep your peace and joy and head on because wasting a healthy mindset has a much better way?! I love this thought:

Worry is Misuse of Imagination

So to escape those YIKEAROOS of anxiety, here are some things to ponder to help:

  • Take a break, even if for a minute and pray, give thanks that Jesus is with you and He will help you. Share your heart with Him. Breathe in peace that He has got it and He understands it all and just what to do to help you. Exhale worry and imagine letting all anxiety over the situation flying up into the hands of Jesus like this:

  • Set your mind that Jesus is bringing victory through it all and has a good plan!!! What does His Word say? What is the Truth over any lies of the enemy? Consider these thoughts as steps you can take:

Dealing with anxiety

  • Ask yourself if it is truly your issue of responsibility to deal with or if someone else needs to handle it. I love doing what I am called to do in life and if you have extra time to help others that is always a good thing. But if not, then let it go to who should deal with it. Identify if you have a part in it and the right timing for dealing with it. Is it something that can be put off for a more appropriate time to give you space for the most important thing for now and today for you? Are there steps to getting it done. Do you need to take the first step today? What is the timing for the second step, etc.?

Taking just a few minutes to pray and reflect can do wonders to bringing calm so that we can journey through the day with peace and joy as this song says here.  Keep the peace and joy in life that Jesus intends. He is a God of order and desires your well being, saints!!!!!!!


Know you are loved and appreciated and there is always a victorious plan with Jesus!!! Oh, He always just makes me smile!!! HAPPY!!!
