Boundaries of Good

Much love to you precious family of saints ~

I am excited about this gift of today, as it is jammed packed with great opportunities to make a difference in this world and as I ponder that and our Father’s Word this morning, my Father speaks to my heart about the importance of boundaries when He says:

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.”

1 Thessalonians 5:19-22

Woohooo! I get very joyful when I think about the fire of our Father’s Holy Spirit in us moving in powerful ways to share His love and grace and wisdom as He guides us through each of our lives! No matter where He puts us in life, we can find joy in it when we know with certainty we are in the pasture of our Father’s will! To have doubt or not be clear where you are supposed to be in life creates confusion and unrest and that is not of our Father. I have heard it said that children need healthy boundaries and when parents or authority figures are inconsistent, they can be insecure in how to live. That makes all kinds of sense to me! The same is true as we grow and become older children of our Father! I am thankful our Father spells out what is right and what is wrong in His Word for us as His kids so that we can have the best life ever! Bless Him!!! In pondering this, I want to encourage you to test the areas of confusion in your life, sort it out and hold on to the good! Separate the yeses from the nos and go with those boundaries. Then you can be secure and feel free in stepping out into life with surety that you are doing what is right and pleasing to our Father. You can enjoy the green pastures of life as He intends for you to be and with that there is so much joy! Riding the fence of uncertainty can be a painful thing as this photo shows here:

I find these much more beautiful images:

Set your heart on the best in life! It’s the best way and the most joyful and victorious! I’m a gal following my Jesus wherever He takes me as this song says here! Woohoo! It’s gonna be a divine adventure!!!
