A powerful day is ours as we look to our Father to empower us as His kids to do life today, dear family!!! He who has called us to life is He who enables and therefore as we look to Him as our all-loving, all-wise, sovereign, powerful Father, this is His promise to us:
“…those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 NIV
In all of life, beloved ones, we can cast our cares upon our Father because He cares for you and He says to “always pray and don’t give up.” When we pray, we are putting our hope in the Lord and His Word says that in so doing, strength is given to do life in such a way that we are not zombie walking, but praising the Lord because:
“Praise the Lord, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise
His holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits–
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from
and crowns you with love
who satisfies your desires with
so that your youth is
renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the
Wooohooo!!! When we look to our Father for empowerment, it forms a climax, not it’s opposite; for the exceptional flying, occasional running and the constant walking thru life – an ever-flowing stream of grace is given to us by our Father that renews us like an eagle, a symbol of vigor and freedom!!! Every breath we take is of His grace!!! Hope in the Lord who enables His kids to soar when they need to – oh I love that thought and when His grace says rest, He gives us the grace to do that to!!! I’m a gal soaring with the vigor of our Father’s grace and with His freedom in life with you and sooo excited to join with my Father to run this way:
“…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out of us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfect of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 NIV
Did Jesus soar like an eagle??? With the strength of grace His Father gave Him, He flew straight off that cross, into the pit of hades to grab the keys of freedom and then up to the heights of heaven to be seated right next to His Father’s throne of grace that we can all approach with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need!!! Glory!!! Through Christ who loves us, we are more than conquerors in all He calls us to as well!!! Let us look to Him with hope and He will give us the grace we need to show us and enable us what we need to soar in all of life!!! His love to you wherever you are today!!! I’m reflecting upon the words of this song here and waiting upon the Lord to guide me and enable me for victory in all of life, too!!! Thankful for Jesus with us!!! Powerful kids are we!!!
