Contentment Where It Is Divine

Jesus was a man secure in who He was and in His Father’s will for Him in life!!! I greatly admire that and it is important for us as His children of faith to be led by our Father and not be swayed from our Father’s heart even though the people around us may not understand and desire something different for us in life. YIKES!!! A good example of this is when Jesus’ brothers wanted Jesus to enter into Jerusalem again to show His disciples His miracles. They were wanting His public image to grow, but our Father had laid it upon His heart to purposefully (intentionally) stay away from being on public display because of the risk of losing His life before it was the right timing for His mission in going to the cross. They said to Jesus:

“No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”

Jesus’ brothers spoke those words to Him, “for even His own brothers did not believe in Him.”  I am sure that their intentions towards Jesus were out of love, care and concern for Him, but Jesus knew that He needed to stand firm in His Father’s will and timing for Him, hence, He replied to His brothers: “The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right…”I am not yet going up to this Feast, because for me the right time has not yet come.” I love what it says Jesus then did: “Having said this, He stayed in Galilee.” WOOOHOOO!!! WAY TO GO JESUS!!! THAT’S HOW TO SHOW LOYALTY TO FATHER!!! ROCK IT, FATHER!!!

I chuckle as I read the next Words written: “However, after His brothers had left for the Feast, He went also, not publicly, but in secret.” For a time, He stayed away, although many were watching for Him, asking about Him and making pros and cons statements about Him. Father’s Word then goes on to say “Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach.” 🙂 TEACH IT JESUS!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!! YAY!!! GO FOR FATHER!!! Truly when His brothers had wanted Jesus to act, it was not our Father’s timing for Him, nor was it our Father’s heart for Him to enter Jerusalem with His brothers, but rather on His own with the accompaniment of His Father leading Him in His own way and in our Father’s right timing to Him to make an appearance. Now that is commendable for our Father’s kids to seek to live out life circumstances divinely!!! YYYEEESSS!!! I SOOO LOVE THAT EXAMPLE JESUS SET FOR US TO FOLLOW!!!

Follow Me

Let’s go for the divine life, too, dear family!!! Let’s live as Father guides us and not bend to the pressures of others that are contrary to our Father’s heart for us!!! It brings the best in life for all concerned!!!

Walking Gal

Jesus was able to act divinely in the midst of public opinion because He knew the love and acceptance of His Father and He knew that His Father’s heart for Him was pure, divine and the very best for Him and His mission in life!!! Therefore, let us ask ourselves in life, where are we being asked to be in public where our Father is asking us to instead live in the quiet, held back, reserved way to follow His grand plan for making His plan, His will, His purpose revealed in just the right place, in just the right way and in just the right timing??? Oh His plans for us will be the best for us and that just makes me smile and say “Here am I, Lord, hold me back and send me out as you see divine!!!” “You have the reigns of my life!!!” Whoa!!! Giddy up!!! – as you please, Lord!!! 🙂
