As a citizen of the United States of America, I recognize today as “Veteran’s Day.” It is a day in which veterans of war are thanked for their services to the United States.
It is always difficult to find words beyond thanks to these and their families who have served and sacrificed much in loyalty to protecting and supporting their Country. It is out of a heart that desires to protect family and fight to rescue their people from harmful intentions directed at them. As I have reflected before my Father today, He has laid it upon my heart to say that Jesus understands their hearts and what it means to sacrifice for others in the warfare brought on by the evil one Satan. Jesus understands, because He Himself was at war against the enemy when He went to the cross to rescue all people of the world from the wages of sin that was inflicted upon everyone born into this world by the father of lies Satan. It goes back to the Biblical story of how he deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Oh he is a crafty one and is the root behind all that produces war as our Father’s Word says:
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
It is important to know that Jesus is one who understands each person’s heart and that He is our God who desires us to have His peace – His understanding in our hearts of His unfailing, unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness for each of us as His children of faith in His finished war efforts on the cross for us all. Through our faith in His efforts to rescue us from the enemy of satan, we are reconciled in peace to our holy God who now sees us as it is written by the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:21-23 of the Bible:
“…now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation–if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which, I, Paul have become a servant.”
The Apostle Paul is one who understood war against the enemy of this world, too and he also understood the peace that comes through the all-sufficient grace of faith in Christ. As Jesus told Paul, is also true for each of us as His children of faith:
“My grace is sufficient for you…”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
When we have placed our trust in Christ Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for us personally, there is nothing that we have ever done or not done or will ever do or not do that Jesus’ grace does not cover us in. We are saved by grace and not by our works!!! He calls each one of us into life with specific purpose – there are many people and many individual life purposes, for some it is to be warriors of sacrifice to protect their people when called upon by leaders. Jesus sees hearts of loyalty for one’s people. As we look in to the Bible, we see that the Israelites were a divine example of this!!! To all who sacrifice and serve to bless the people whom our Father calls you to, thank you for giving!!! I am sooo proud of you for doing the hard things in life as Jesus also did!!!
I love this song here that talks about our Father’s amazing grace that every person in the world needs because of Satan’s inflictions upon all people born into us thru the first man and woman. Know that YOU, dear child of faith in His sacrifice for you and for me too, we are forever appreciated, forgiven, loved and delighted in by the King of kings and Lord of lords – the King of Glory that forever reigns with eternal plans of victory that is at work bringing our forever peace in His paradise kingdom coming soon where there will be no more battles with the enemy, only bliss with our King!!! Until that time, continue in His all-sufficient grace for your own purpose to bless those whom He has called you to sacrifice for. He who loves us and lives in us enables us and empowers us to be “more than conquerors in all things,” including the enemies’ battle efforts towards us to get us to not accept the grace of Jesus as all-sufficient for us. Oh let’s not let the enemy take us there!!! Where do you need to claim Jesus’ all-sufficient grace for you, precious saint??? Claim it for the victory over the evil one – stand in the grace of Jesus!!! I am doing so with you where He has me!!! Much love to you wherever you are today!!! 🙂 Smile!!! Jesus loves you!!!
