A Different Kind of Worship

When you think about worship if you are like me, I often think of singing praise to Jesus who is worthy of praise and the heart of His children who recognize the goodness of the King do not necessarily need stimulants to bring about proper worship. Their lives are centered on pleasing their Father whom they love and adore, therefore, they are always happy to come before  the throne of grace in praise of the King!!! WOOOHOOO!!! It is something your heart just wants to do. Even if we can’t be inside of a church group to sing praise, there are sooo many ways to tune into praise music and even if there is no music, we can make our own music in heart to our Father at anytime that we desire to!!! Our Father is always available for us and His ears are always in tune to hearing the praise of His dearly loved children who believe in Him!!!

But worship of our Father can be different than singing Him a song of our heart via music!!! The song of our hearts as worship to our Father can also be expressed in our attitudes towards life, in that our lifestyle and our living out of actions that bring Him glory in this world as His Word tells us:

“Therefore, I urge you brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is  your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Romans 12::1-2

Transformed in Mind

I have often heard the question asked of saints “If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?” As I reflect upon that question today and ask myself that question, I find it a powerful one to ponder!!! It leads me to ask myself other questions like “What actions am I taking from my heart that makes me a living sacrifice for my King?” “How do I stand out from the world in being different from the world?” “How am I being conformed to the world?” We are called to live in this world, but not to be of the world. Heaven is our home and we are all just sojourners here on this earth until such time our Father returns or takes us home!!!

When we keep our minds fixed on our Father’s Word and His heart for us, it gives us a new attitude about what it means to live in the world and our purpose in the midst of it all. What we treasure most in life is what our lives will evidence thru our thoughts, words and deeds. WOW!!! POWERFUL ARE OUR HEARTS!!! I ask myself as I ask you “How does the evidence of Jesus’ love, truth and grace manifest in us???” “Does it need to be transformed in some way by the renewing of our minds???”

I worship my King for His Spirit living in us to guide us and for His Word that reveals to us Father’s heart. In knowing Father’s heart, it enables me to know how to bless His heart which is how I worship Him for His loving kindnesses to me – not because I have to because we are saved by grace and not by works, but I get to worship my Father thru doing kindnesses for Him!!! Oh that just blesses my heart to love my Father who loves me and it makes me smile and gets me all inspired to live for Him in this world!!! I love this song here that talks about being here in the world and wanting to serve my King!!! How is your heart moved in worship of Jesus today in your life, dear saint??? Know that He delights in you and loves you with unfailing, unconditional love!!! Thru our faith in His finished work on the cross, He sees us as holy, without blemish, without accusation and with no condemnation. Now how sweet is our good, good Father to us!!! I worship Him today with you wherever you are!!! Much divine love to you in your adventures where you are with Father today!!!
