Taking a stand in life for Jesus is something that many saints in Biblical days did!!! I greatly admire their courage and divine strength!!! Bless them!!! We certainly saw that with the lives of Moses, Joshua, King David, Queen Esther, Ruth, Mary and the disciples of Christ to name just a few!!! HOOORAH!!! I am sooo thankful that they did stand for the Lord because we have the forever love and rescue of Christ Jesus as a result of their faithfulness to the Lord!!! As saints, we owe that same kind of Christian legacy to this present generation and the next as well. Someone needs to carry the baton of faith in Christ forward for as long as it is day on this earth just as those of yesterdays did for us!!! Amen?!!
Our Father encouraged Jeremiah to go forth as His mouthpiece and God’s part in it was that He would protect His prophet. He told him:
“Now behold, I have made you today as a fortified city and as a pillar of iron and as walls of bronze against the whole land, to the kings of Judah, to its princes, to its priests and to the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the Lord.
Our Father encourages us as saints of today to keep going into life for Him thru the faithfulness of the Apostle Paul also:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15:58
The enemy of this world is still on the prowl today to stop the advancement of Christ into the world and He encourages us as His faithful ones and gives us this advice today as He told His disciples in yesterdays:
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.”
1 Peter 5:8-9
Jesus said: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Where is Jesus calling you to stand for Him, dear saint??? This we can know, Jesus has our backs and we are forever safe in Him!!! Let us be true to Him and those who need to hear His good news, for the the “always abounding in the work of the Lord” will always be worth it and not in vain in Him.”
Saved by grace and not by works we are thru faith in Christ and privileged to carry the baton forward for heaven’s kingdom purpose here on earth, we are!!! I am sooo proud of you, sweet family of saints for doing so!!! I’m standing for Him with you in awe of the greatness of Him as this song says here.
