Hi, sweet saints!!! Yesterday in writing, I shared how it is a good exercise to reflect on where our time and money is presently being spent, pruning off areas that are not fruitful, but staying in tune to where God is leading us to go. Today I want to share further as Father has revealed these things as I have sought His heart:
A good illustration I read was to look at our lives as a fruit tree. The trunk as the anchor part of our life, our relationship with God. The limbs represent major focus areas that God has given us – family, job, ministry and personal development. From these main limbs are many little branches that represent the ever increasing multitude of activities. Even without special care, activity branches multiply. Soon the number of branches can become more prominent that the trunk and limbs. When this happens, we can begin to feel trapped, frustrated, and empty as people. Why? Because when that happens, our life is shaped and drained by activities that have lost their pertinence in Christ. Stimulators of branch development or enemies to rest and margin or flexibility in our lives and finances can be things such as pride, coveting, discontentment, preoccupation with success, power, debt, personal image and reputation and inappropriate expectations. YIKES!!! LET’S WATCH OUT!!! That devil is always working to trip people up and that is why it is good to ask our selves “Why am I doing what I am doing?”
Here is a powerful thought to ponder “It is important to not be motivated by looking up the prosperity ladder to see that some may have more than us and thus find ourselves in want. Instead, we need to look down the prosperity ladder to those with less than us. We will then have a heart of gratitude for what we have and an awareness of many opportunities to share it with those in need. A. W. Tozer observed: “The heart’s fierce effort to protect itself from every slight, to shield its touchy honor from the opinion of friend and enemy will never let the mind rest.” Our mindset drives our motives and our goals. This is one good reason it is so important to not believe Satan’s lies and instead, stay focused on God’s Word!!! Oh sooo true!!! Satan desires to sift God’s people as wheat – burn them out or wear them out in too much unnecessary running!!! The proper mindset lends to the proper balance in our lives – one that includes margin!
Also, I have personally found that when I make spending time with God the priority in my life, God stretches my time and helps me to accomplish more in my day. I see it as His way of giving back to me for giving Him my time! The same is true with finances. When we give God our first fruit or tithe of what He has given to us, He blesses us financially (Proverbs 11:24). All things are from the hand of our Father, so to give Him the first fruits has its divine fruit in itself!!! Father promises us:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
I like this song here about Father’s love and light being divinely multiplied into the earth in all that He enables us to do divinely!!!
YOU and JESUS TEAMED TOGETHER ARE DIVINE THINGS HAPPENING IN LIFE!!! SOOO PROUD OF YOU FOR INVITING HIS WORKINGS IN YOU INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A FRUITFUL LIFE OF HEAVEN MOVING OUT INTO THE WORLD!!! GOING WITH JESUS FOR THE DIVINE LIFE, TOO AND OH SOOO HAPPY IN LIFE!!! WOOOHOOO SMILING!!! 🙂
