I hope you have had a good day, precious saints!!! Today has been a good day for me!!! This cowgirl has so much to be thankful for!!! My life is good!!! I have had opportunity to spend time this weekend with different people who each have their heartbreak stories and it inspires me to see them persevering!!! Sometimes in difficult circumstances, it can be hard to know what to say and so listening and praying is often the best thing to do!!!
Everybody’s life has its times when it is hard – like those times when we end up suffering due to living in a sinful world. When this happens, my Father reminds me that it is commendable when we bear up under the pain of unjust suffering because we are conscious of God!!! Christ suffered unjustly because of sin in the world as well. Our Father needs to be our guide in how we deal with others, but when He calls us to endure suffering because we are conscious of Him, we are like Jesus!!! This thought gets me all inspired that when the going gets tough, to keep going for Him!!! I think of all the missionaries in the world who sacrifice and endure hardship for the sake of people because of unjust suffering put upon them by various governments that prohibit the sharing of Christ. These missionaries find their strength and joy in doing the hard stuff because they are conscious of God and they have a heart for carrying out His will, His plan and His purpose to help others know Him. They live the hard life because they lean on the Rock (Jesus) for their strength. I guess you can say it is a “hard-Rock” life which is commendable in our Father’s eyes. I want to encourage my struggling friends today from our Father’s Word that tells us these things:
“For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God.”
1 Peter 2:19
Oh let us “fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.”
Consider how you might sacrifice to lend support to missionaries who seek to help those in the world to lean on the Rock in the midst of their hard lives. It would be commendable in our Father’s eyes who wants to strengthen them to rock on for heaven, trusting in His sufficient grace to help them!!!
You may be the voice that speaks that strength to them to keep going!!! Sooo proud of you for doing so, dear ones!!! I like this song here about going to the Rock in troubled times. Have a great rest of today knowing that our Father has our forever victory already won!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Rockin’ on Jesus with ya’s wherever you are and sooo happy to be!!!
