The Plan A or B Life

God’s best to you all today!!! Like many of you probably do each new day, I begin my day pondering the things that I sense need to be included in how I spend my day. I establish or plan what I guess you could say is my plan A.

Several years ago, I used to try to plan out how my life would go in 15-minute segments in my calendar or planner on a daily basis. I learned from that to have flexibility after I realized like Mary, the mother of Jesus discovered, that our Father sometimes has other plans for us. I guess you could call it the plan B plan, although I have realized that our Father’s plan is actually the best and preferred plan for my life, therefore, I call His plan the plan A and mine, the plan B. My plan B takes a back seat and really isn’t as important knowing my Father’s plan is best and will take precedence over anything I can write down on a paper calendar (lol)!!! Our Father has a way of closing a door tight and opening up new divine ones and sometimes He can open a former door wide flung open to stay and close a new one trying to open!!!

Mary was going about her life, getting ready to be married to Joseph when she found out she was highly favored and chosen to give birth to the Son of God. Wow!!! What an honor to be chosen to share in God’s work!!! I don’t know about you, but I just get thrilled over the idea of working with my Father as it always has a good and devine outcome for me and others when He is involved in my life!!! At this point, I sense my Father is the only one that wants me as no other invitations have been made to me for partnering for His Kingdom. Therefore, I keep on going as the me and Jesus team where Father leads!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Father always has the best plans so I step with Him and trust in Him to get me thru this earthly life divinely!!!

I have heard so many different brothers and sisters in the Lord tell me, I set out to go here and ended up here and at first I was all taken back or frustrated as it wasn’t what I planned would happen, but this is what God did through it all!!! Now I’m glad it happened that way!!! For example, I recall my father-in-law telling the story of how he had a Christmas Tree that he had purchased from a charity and he had it in his vehicle to take it home. He decided to stop at a gas station to refuel his car, when a woman next to him commented on the tree he had in his trunk. They began to talk as my father-in-law struck up a continued conversation with her, asking her if she had her Christmas tree up yet. The lady then told him that she would not be able to afford one this year. Well, upon hearing that, my father-in-law’s heart was moved that he was to give the Christmas tree in his trunk to this lady and get himself another one. Yes, one could say it was a hassle in that he had to then go back and put out for another tree, but because of what happened, a whole family that wouldn’t have had the gift of a Christmas tree now had one, the charity was blessed with another donation, my father-in-law felt good inside knowing he had helped someone down and without and it created a great story and example to be shared with his family and beyond of what a difference sharing what our Father gives us can make in someone’s life. My father-in-law set out with his plan A, but it became his plan B when he was shown our Father’s plan A for the situation. Now how cool is that!!! Our Father is not unjust and He will not forget what we do to show love to Him!!!

I recall a doll from when I was younger called “Stretch Armstrong,” that was a muscle man that could be stretched from 15 inches long to up to 4-5 feet in length. It comes to mind as a good example of being flexible or letting our Father stretch our lives from what we think they are to be and go to the great lengths to go thru the divine openings of opportunity in life to carry out His plan or His purpose in our lives!!!

So, this gal is thinking that a good way to start each day is with some “stretching” excercise – getting our mindset flexible to be receptive to what our Father might ask us to do to partner with Him as we go through our day!!! Woohoo!!! It’s gonna be exciting – a divine adventure!!! Have fun, go with our Father and enjoy life wherever He takes ya!!! It will have a great ending story as does the Christmas story and as this song says here in each of our lives when we open up our lives to Jesus!!!

Oh, I can’t wait to hear the divine stories!!! 🙂 I’m smiling all ready!!!

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.”

Hebrews 6:10

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’S purpose that prevails.”

Proverbs 19:21

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

Isaiah 6:8

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Revelation 22:12
