Content in God’s Grace

New day greetings, precious family of faith! Today, Father speaks to my heart that being content in His sufficient grace is HUGE! When we begin our day and we are praying for Father’s guidance, we can step out with the plans that come to us in response to stepping as He guides us. He will establish our steps! What we need to watch out for though is in a crowd of many people talking, listening to what is perhaps meant for nobody in particular and someone else’s ears and not our own! In situations like this, there is lots of room for the enemy of our life to speak things at us that our ears are not meant to hear by our Father. What is right for one person may not be right for another!

Our Father moves our hearts as to who to take counsel from and if there is something we need to hear directly, we can pray and ask our Father to bring that to us directly from the source He wants us to hear it from. For example, perhaps you are pouring out everything you can as you listen to the Holy Spirit’s voice and in a large general crowd someone speaks out “Stop being mediocre.” Have you ever stepped out to speak without a word from the Lord? He gives as His Spirit sees best for us!! Do you see how the enemy can step in and put legalistic pressure on us to push ourselves beyond the Holy Spirit’s leading, speaking lies to us if we choose to claim that instead of letting our Father bring it to us directly from Himself or a source that we need to hear it from! Now if my Pastor or a divinely-recognized Christian counselor (a legitimately acknowledged mentor in my life) called me up and said “Sheila, there is something that the Lord has put on my heart to talk to you about,” then I would consider that, but somebody on a street corner speaking out this or that could be directing it to nobody in particular and perhaps just venting about something that somebody else did or didn’t do to them and they are letting off steam about it!

Let us consider the sources of input into our lives and take what comes from our Father or divinely acknowledged circle of counsel for us personally as a matter of prayer before the Lord and trust His guidance for us individually. We may be very clear on our Father’s purpose for us in life and have all kinds of people seeking to tell us why our God-given dreams will never work or perhaps how we should serve them instead of where our Father has called us!! Yikes! Let us watch out, dear ones of heaven! Let us go with the flow of the Holy Spirit leading us and not give in to legalism or enemy bondage as Father says in His Word:

“But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.”

Romans 7:6

Jesus said “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit, apart from Me you can do nothing.”

John 15:5

“Blessed (happy) is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.”

Psalm 1:1

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”

Proverbs 25:11

Resting in Father’s grace to us to rest us or move us is always sufficient for us and such a blessing when He sends us Godly advice!! Let us consider our true source’s heart (Father’s) on who we let speak with authority into our lives! Wow! Have you seen some of the advice being thrown at the United States President right now that is put out by the news?! A good example that not everything spoken is Gospel truth advice to take to heart! I’m a gal sharing what is on my heart today for whatever Father calls the hearts here to do with it! 🙂 Much love to you! Proud of you for seeking Father’s heart for you! Father’s grace wins every time as this song says here. Not even our perfect Father ever puts guilt or shame on His people! He just gently speaks truth to us to teach us and lead us forward!! I sure love our Father’s ways based on truth! There is a reason He is known as perfect love!
