The King of Grace

Jesus – oh He has a heart to motivate His people to live courageously and in faith for His kingdom life here on earth!!! We see it all thru Biblical history as He beckoned His people to step into divine life in faith in Him, trusting in Him to see them through to victory life just as He told Joshua as He called him to step out and lead the way for the people that the Lord put him in leadership over to lead them thru enemy land:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

I Am the Light

Our Father is one who builds His people up to encourage them onward to divine life!!! He would say it is acceptable end results to strive for motivation, however, it is important to rethink approaches to achieving these ends using fear, shame and anger to motivate others. Jesus as our direct supervisor would like to see completely abolished from programs the following because they don’t line up with His values and they have no future in His kingdom:

“using violent behaviors and attitudes to enforce one’s will to get tasks accomplished.”

We know this is the heart of our sweet King of grace as He has told us:

“Let all you do be done in love.”

1 Corinthians 16:14

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”

James 1:19-20

And in keeping with the heart of Jesus towards His Father who prayed to His Father:

¬†“not my will, but Yours be done.” ¬†

Luke 22:42

Our Father encourages us as His kingdom kids to help each other by inspiring and motivating each other in Him as He says in His Word:

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”

Hebrews 10:24

Is our Father putting it upon your heart to encourage those He loves to love and good works??? How can you do so in His love towards them??? To look through His eyes of grace and love to help one another does away with trembling and dismay and distancing of oneself to instead inspiring them to do the right thing thru divine love shown towards them. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans of Father’s heart for them¬†“His kindness is meant to lead you to repentance.”¬† (Romans 2:4)

To You WIth Love

It is Father’s love that is most important in this life and if we can do all kinds of things, but yet there is not love in our doing so, our actions are as a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. (1 Corinthians 13:1) YIKES!!! Now that is loud hoopla for nothing!!! YIKES AGAIN!!! Oh there is nothing sweeter than our Father’s voice of love to guide us!!! Let us seek to echo it into the world for Father’s sake and the blessing of people as this song says here!!! Divine sisterly love to you, saint and keep going for our Father’s heart in this world – the heart of the One who loves you forever with unfailing, unconditional love!!! I am proud of you for doing so!!! Sharing faith, love and hope is what it is to bring heaven to earth!!! Oh those thoughts sooo bless my heart and make me smile!!! His blessings to you wherever you are!!!

God's Love is So Big

Freedom From Satan’s Wallowing

Every person in the world makes mistakes in life. When a person is honest with themselves and humble before their God, they are willing to admit when they are wrong, out of line or walking in sin. They are willing to apologize, ask for forgiveness, make restitution how they need to, repent and turn from their wrong to do right in the future. When you put forth the effort to do so, those with a heart after God’s own heart should want to extend forgiveness and move towards reconciliation in relationships.

Sometimes when we care and love someone enough to go through the risk, challenge and difficulty to speak truth to them about their behavior because you see a destructive pattern in their life that may be hurting them and/or others around them, understand that one’s loving thoughtfulness towards them is not always met with appreciation!!! It is something we should keep in mind each of us personally when we hear truth about ourselves, too!!! I am thankful to hear truth about myself upon serious reflection of it before our Father for His guidance for me. ¬†His Word tells us:

“let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.”

Proverbs 1:5

We can always listen, take what we hear before our Father and rest in His final decision/outlook for us. We should not seek out ungodly counsel purposefully though or follow the advice of counsel contrary to our Father’s written Word. Not only does our Father call us to listen to wisdom, but He also calls us to share His wisdom with others around us in life. Sometimes this can be saying very hard things and to do that¬†is always a hard call to make to speak truth to another and one that takes serious prayer, but our Father tells us in His written Word (the Bible):

“Better is open rebuke than hidden love.”

Proverbs 27:5

Our Father gave us the emotions of anger and frustration. They are indicators that something is wrong. Short-term anger and frustration can be a good attribute when something is morally or ethically done wrong in us or towards someone on our team – for example, if someone lies or cheats or some thing that someone does violates someone’s rights. In these situations, it is good to speak out in Father’s truth and love.

I have seen many times in life how anger and frustration is allowed to last long term and raise havoc on relationships and the joy that our Father desires for us to have as His people. Holding¬†on to a claim of being hurt to procrastinate admission of a sin and needed repentance or to hide from it in Satan’s convincing shame and guilt for us rather than facing the issue truthfully and moving forward having learned from the experience is not our Father’s heart for any of us. Often someone hurt will continue long term to remind the person who spoke truth to them of how out of line they were in doing so because it hurt them. This can be an unconscious or conscious tactic to belittle the truth speaker in an effort to build themselves up because of their low self esteem in not being able to handle the truth that they were wrong and in a place of needing someone to speak truth to them. It can also be a motive of withholding love to a person intentionally as a payback for them speaking truth and interfering with a sin that they want to hold on to in their life. When we have an honest heart open to Jesus, He can reveal truth in these things into each of our lives and help us have victory over Satanic strongholds upon our hearts!!! Oh let us always choose divine victory life, dear ones!!!

In life, there are times when we all truly can be embarrassed, hurt, ashamed, angered or frustrated and it can take time and effort to fight off strongholds in these areas. I recall a time when a brother of mine shared the words with me to rebuke the enemy of unforgiveness out loud, commanding him and his demonic influences to leave me. We then prayed with God’s truth for God’s authority and victory to fill me up and knock away that stronghold. It worked right away and I am sooo thankful to be free from unforgiveness!!! I think we can all understand that in life and Jesus certainly understands us. However, these times are times that should be dealt with in the short term and then as God’s people, we should move right back in to living in the repentant fruit and renewed joy of the Holy Spirit’s love and grace for us as kingdom sons and daughters. Jesus modeled this for us when He was angered over the actions taking place in the temple. He had the necessary conversation to bring correction and clear understanding, then let it go to move forward into divine life. He did not make it a long-term emotional issue that kept Him bringing it up or keep Him from doing what was right. I have heard many stories where people hang on to grudges all their lives and then after a person has passed away, the grudge holder wishes they would have gotten right with them before they left. They wish they could’ve had courage to share that deep down they really did love the person, they were sorry and desired reconciliation to happen. Oh the sadness of the destruction to relationships that pride in hearts can have!!!

God gave us emotions and there is nothing wrong with having emotions, however, it is important that we learn to deal with our emotions rightly. Jesus had emotions, too and understands us each one fully!!!

Trusting Jesus

There was only one time in Jesus’ mission on earth when He was just about shut down from moving forward divinely and that was when He was bearing the weight of all sin upon Him with its temptation of falling into the enemy’s overwhelming accusations of embarrassment, shame and guilt. Jesus gained the victory over the enemy thru prayer to His Father and with the mindset towards His Father’s heart¬†as “not my will, but Yours be done.”¬† I am thankful Jesus dealt with it right away and did not let it lead Him to procrastinate divine action in life!!!

Jesus with Angel

Jesus stepped forward into life to do the right thing towards the people of the world that brought eternal victory and reconciliation of all people to our Father. Because Jesus did the right thing in life, there is forgiveness by our Father of all sins of all of us who believe in Christ’s efforts on the cross for us and eternal life for us in Father’s kingdom being ushered into fullness soon that will be forever free from ongoing enemy influence. We also now have the indwelling of our Father’s Holy Spirit within our hearts as believers to empower us to live victoriously over the enemy of us (Satan). If Jesus has forgiven us as children of faith, He tells us so we should forgive one another. We may find a huge improvement in our relationships in life if we all seek to eliminate the sense of embarrassment, sense of shame, guilt if you don’t play well and sense of distress like your life is ruined if you don’t play like you are suppose to. Culture is always inundated with this stuff. We don’t need to be part of it, saints – it just doesn’t work. It always raises the intensity level too high and tactical and people will play in life too uptight, fearful of making a mistake¬†or eventually become so discouraged by the enemy that they just shut down, too weak to fight anymore. Let us not let Satan do that to us ever!!! Let us always fight for what is the right and best life!!!

One of the best things a girlfriend said to me many years ago as a young Christian was “Don’t let Satan allow you to wallow in this problem.” May we always remember that Father’s joy is the best emotion in life. Getting rid of complacency of sin, long-term anger and frustration is important to moving forward divinely victorious. We can do so when we have the mindset that our Father’s love and grace for us is sufficient as this song says here and that His plans for us are best. Let us step forward in His love, grace and the pursuit of His goodness. Much love to you wherever you are at in life. Only Father knows fully your heart and only Father knows fully my heart and He can reveal what we each need to see in life as individuals to move forward and not wallow in the enemy’s muck and mire. To forgive is to set a prisoner free and often times that prisoner is yourself. Are you free or still wallowing with our enemy of this life and Father’s kingdom???

Freedom in Relationships

My Father lays it upon my heart today the importance of relationships and the influence that they can have on our lives. Our Father made us to be in close personal relationship with Him as a priority in our lives and when we draw close to Him and love Him with all of our heart, with all of our soul and with all of our mind and with all of our strength as He tells us is the greatest Word in all the Bible, we find the unfailing, unconditional love that gives us the strength, the love, the courage and the wisdom to deal rightly in all other relationships in life!!! Oh our Father is sooo smart and that is why He tells us:

“…do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Romans 12:2NASB

Pastor With Bible

The Apostle Paul then goes on to share with us in Father’s Word:

“For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of yourself that you ought to think; but think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.”

Romans 12:3NASB

Woman with Cross

When we see ourselves as our Father sees us in the close intimacy (in-t0-me-see) perfect love relationship we have with Him, we see ourselves as His beloved children of faith in whom He delights!!! We also see that thru our faith in His finished work on the cross for the sins of each one of us, we know that He sees us as saved sinners that have the issue of the enemy Satan to contend with¬†as long as we do life here on this earth!!! Our Father¬†sees us as holy, without blemish and without accusation and with no condemnation in Him thru our faith in His sacrifice for us to set us free from the wages of sin!!! He also gives us choice in life and His Word (the Bible) to help us make the best divine choices in how we live life here on earth. When we have made mistakes, our Father desires that we realize it, accept it, learn from it and move on into life making better choices in the future, being the wiser from what we learn. There are natural consequences for our choices and our sweet Father wants us to have the best life possible in choosing His ways for ourselves. We are already saved from the wages of sin thru His work on the cross, so we will never be cast away from our Father’s love and acceptance, nor will we ever be cast away from being part of His royal family in His paradise kingdom coming soon. YAY!!!

Having said that, our Father desires that we love and help each other as His kids in this life though and when we are choosing to walk in ways that are contrary to our Father, it is good when we are open to listening to others who love us enough to warn us and help us to see our Father’s heart for us!!! Our Father tells us:

“As iron sharpens iron, so one a person sharpens another.”

Proverbs 27:17

Oh I sooo love it when my family of saints help me in life to see clearly the divine life!!! Sometimes it can be hard to hear when we have messed up at first, but if we can see it as their love for us, we can take it before our Father and ask Him His view of it and if it is valid criticism before Him, we should seek to turn from the wrong and walk in the best life!!! I sooo love that thought of living life best!!! Our Father tells us that wounds from a friend can be trusted in Proverbs 27:6. If we turn a friend away that speaks our Father’s truth to us in love for us, we may lose one of the best friends we could have!!! YIKES!!! WATCH OUT!!!

It is never easy to speak hard things of godly correction to people we love and while seeking to help those we love, sometimes it can go well if they listen to what our Father lays on our heart to speak to them and they seek our Father, perhaps godly counsel about it, too, repent or turn the other way and do what is right in life.  While our Father tells us iron sharpens iron and a person sharpens another, He also warns us:

“Do not be deceived.” “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

1 Corinthians 15:33NASB

Jesus is Our Champion

When the effect of a friend upon us is negative, we must be careful the negative influence does not change us from what is of our Father. Consider that to not speak Truth in love and to continually just go along without helping godly change to happen, we may be actually condoning ungodliness to continue!!! YIKES!!! LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER BEST AND DIVINE!!! ¬†Ungodly influence may make it necessary to even separate ourselves from a relationship if godly change doesn’t happen. Often we can enter a relationship thinking that perhaps we can influence them or help them change, but the reality is that we cannot make people change.¬†We can speak Truth in love and faithfulness, but only the work of the Holy Spirit can help a person and help them to see the Truth and even with that, He still gives them choice to choose His Truth or not. A good example of this is in the story of Joseph and Mary when Joseph was wanting to secretly divorce Mary because she ended up with the Christ child before they were married. The Lord was able to help Joseph see the divine in the situation and He changed Joseph’s heart. Hence, Joseph was open to choosing to continue in the relationship with Mary. YAY!!! WAY TO CHOOSE JESUS, JOSEPH!!! I BE BLESSED BY THAT RIGHTEOUS CHOICE!!! I’VE GOT MY DIVINE VICTORY DANCING SHOES ON AND WHOOPING IT UP WITH GRATEFULNESS!!! THAT CHOICE MADE A FOREVER DIFFERENCE TO ME AND MANY!!! ūüôā Another example to consider is the example of King Herod who had the light of the three wise men present him Truth about Christ born into the world and he chose in his heart to reject and destroy Christ’s partnership with him, hence, the Lord advised the three wise men not to return to King Herod, but to go a different direction.

Our Father gives us His heart and His Spirit’s power at work in us for our best life, forever set free in Him from sins bondage control upon us. His loving heart for us is to choose His heart:

“You shall not follow the masses in doing evil.”

Exodus 23:2NASB

Where You Are I Am Free

We have freedom of choice and power to overcome bondage to sin!!! There is a day coming when our Father will also separate those who are His from those who choose to reject Him rather than trust in Him as their Savior. Our Father does not partner with those bent on evil intent to destroy His kingdom and His kids, nor does He expect us to partner with evil as His kids of faith.

If you should find yourself in a questionable relationship, here are some thoughts to consider about whether or not it is appropriate to end a relationship:

  • Don’t end a relationship just because someone speaks Godly Truth to you. We may lose one of the best friends we could have. We must realize that everyone misbehaves sometimes, even ourselves. Our Father says to deny our personal sin is to be a liar. (1 John 1:8)
  • Don’t tell a friend Truth and walk away all mad never to relate with them again. Give them time to respond. If a friend acknowledges the problem and tries to change, be there for them to encourage them and support them in their efforts to live in godliness!!! This is not a good time to end a relationship.
  • If someone is continually or habitually intent on working against our Father (not just slipping up and making an occasional mistake) gradually separate yourself from them and widen your circle of friends to include those that are healthy for you. ¬†If immediate severing of a relationship is necessary, tell the person you wish them well, but want to spend time with others in your life. Seek to end relationships without being unfriendly in the process. If paths cross again, be friendly instead of being an enemy. This is in keeping with our Father’s heart:

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.”

Romans 12:18NASB

God Is For You

Power to Bind The Devil

  • Find courage to end friendships when you must and tact to do it peacefully as possible. Ending with bitterness, anger and confusion is not the best way!!! Clarity in what the problem issues are helps both sides to have possible successful repentance, resolution and reconciliation.
  • If someone chooses not to change or do life with you in the future, don’t force them to, but rather rest in Father’s love and grace for you as sufficient, pray, move on in life and find joy and the blessings of being with people who love and care for you and desire the divine contributions of love and godliness that you have to add to their lives as Father guides you in loving them. He has made us to be in relationship with people and when two people look to Christ as the center of their relationships, it always brings the divine blessings into each of our lives that our Father intended when He said:

“…love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” Secondly… “love your neighbor as yourself.”

Mark 12:30-31NASB

God on His throne

“As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

John 13:34NASB

Much love to you all wherever you are today, dear family!!! May our Father guide you in His wisdom, give you peace, strength and courage to carry out His will, His plan and His purpose for you in all the relationships He places around us!!! Always hold close to the power of God’s love for you above all as this song says here.
