New day greetings, precious kingdom family!!! Father speaks to my heart today of how He desires to be our enough in all of life. That is important because only He can fully satisfy our souls and we cannot always have what our heart may desire. Sometimes that is because of our Father’s heart for us and sometimes it is because people have freewill in this life. Our Father knows what is best for us as individuals and as a child may ask their father for a gift, if the father knows that a gift is not going to be good for that child, the father is not going to grant it to the child. The same is true with our Father in heaven who gives us the very gift of life and oh sooo many things in life to be thankful for!!! Learning to count our blessings is a HUGE perspective changer!!! I agree fully with the writer of Lamentations 3:24 when he wrote:
“My soul can say “The LORD is my lot (in life). That is why I find hope in Him.”
Broken relationships. missed out on opportunities, unrealized dreams as well as other life loss can be painful and very difficult for anyone to heal from, but when we learn to find our sufficiency in Christ Jesus, we can soar on wings abundantly aloft like an eagle in the air with Him wherever we are in life!!! Oh He is the celebration in our life always and anything else we are gifted with in this life is just more of Him!!! 🙂 Jesus just makes us smile always!!! May this day find us all smiling in the truth of His love and grace as abundantly sufficient for us wherever we are in life!!! Sooo much truth in this song here!!! Always see the love of Jesus above all else in life – it makes for the win, win, win always life!!! Thankful for Jesus with ya’s!!!
Awesome new day greetings, dear ones!!! As I have been sharing the last several days, we can see that a physical athlete running a race and a spiritual athlete running their road of purpose have a lot in common in some ways!!! Another example I want to share with you today is this:
A beginning athlete just getting started in running with a goal of running a long-term physical race does not wake up the first day of learning to run and say “Today, I will run a marathon!” When I decided I would like to be a physical runner, I soon learned this truth!!! YIKES!!! My body was weak. At first my ankles began to hurt, then my knees and then my hips. It took time to make these weak areas strong and build up the stamina to run a great distance. It takes training to be a physically-fit athlete!!! Not everyone is physically capable of running and that is ok. We need to train to become godly as spiritual athletes and that is very important for everyone!!! (1 Timothy 4:7). While some type of exercise helps us all to be at our best potential physically for serving God and others, the same is true spiritually. The Bible says “physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for the present life and the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:8). Many people are fanatics about exercising their body everyday in an effort to stay healthy physically, but they never do anything to train to be spiritually healthy. The latter is the most important!!! As new spiritual athletes, we cannot wake up today and be a mature Christian and know everything contained in God’s Word. It takes time for the Holy Spirit to teach or train us and help us to run well the spiritual race of life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the person of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” If we want to be equipped or get in shape spiritually, we need to work out with the Holy Spirit each day by opening up our Bible and studying God’s Word and trusting the Holy Spirit to build spiritual muscle in us. HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! RUH, RUH, RUH!!! IT MAKES FOR THE BEING EQUIPPED IN THE MIND WITH JESUS MENTALITY THAT WE ALL NEED TO HAVE DIVINE VICTORY IN LIFE!!!
So now that we understand how to be healthy and trained spiritually, we are ready to start running the road of purpose that God has for our lives as our Father’s Spirit guides us along thru His Spirit speaking to us in line with His written Word (the Bible) that He sometimes speaks to us thru others and His guidance thru circumstances!!! TO THAT ALL I SAY YYYEEESSS!!! I’M EXCITED!!! LET’S GET GOING, SAINTS!!! IT’S GOING TO BE DIVINE FUN ADVENTURE ON THE GOOO FOR THE DIVINE TRIP THRU LIFE WITH HE WHO LOVES US FOREVER AND WHO WILL ALWAYS LEAD US IN TRIUMPHANT PROCESSION ALONG THE SCENIC VICTORY ROUTE AS WE KEEP OUR EYES FIXED ON HIM!!!
I hope you have enjoyed this series of leaning about the comparisons of a physical athlete running for a prize and a spiritual athlete running the road of purpose for the prize of Father’s eternal rewards that He holds for all His people who show Him love by helping His people and continuing to help them. We are saved by grace and not by works and therefore, we all are kingdom family thru faith and have a heavenly seat in the kingdom of heaven, this we know!!! That is awesome!!! But our sweet Father just likes to add eternal blessings to His people for what they do out of a motive for Him and oh that just blesses my heart to know that Father delights in our heart for Him as we put forth efforts in this life to bless Him!!! I am proud of YOU for doing so, too, sweet saints!!!
Let us keep moving onward in that motive of showing love to our Father of perfect love and bringing Him glory into this earth as this song says here. I love to make Jesus smile!!! It just makes me smile, too!!!
I have contracted with Westbow Press, a publisher that is a division of Thomas Nelson to publish my book that I hope to have released to the market soon entitled “Running Your Road of Purpose”. I will let you know when it is available if you are interested in studying with me more about how to successfully run our road of purpose in life. I’m a gal seeking to do so with ya’s and loving life with Jesus with ya’s!!! 🙂 Have a delightful day!!!
Idaho greetings, family!!! Today I want to share the second in the series of comparisons of a physical athlete running a race to a spiritual athlete running a race. It is this:
Needs hydration or water for proper body function.
“On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thristy, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this He meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive.”
When we believe in Jesus as our Savior from personal sin, the Father will send the Holy Spirit (to live in us) to teach us all things and remind us of everything Jesus has said. (John 14:26) John 16:13 says “When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth.” We could say that He is our coach!!! When Jesus’ work on earth was finished, He did not want to leave us helpless and thirsty for Him. He tells us in Matthew 28:20 “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Although He is always with us and never leaves us, choosing to sin will grieve the Holy Spirit within us (Ephesians 4:30).
You may be saying “YIKES!!! What happens then?” The Good News is Father still loves us, does not condemn us and here is what we need to know:
To be filled “fully” with the Holy Spirit requires our submission to the will of God. When we do not allow the Holy Spirit to be seen in our actions, or do what is wrong (sin) and grieve the Holy Spirit who lives in us, we create leaks that drain out His living water from within us! (1 Thessalonians 5:19)
We are forever saved by God’s grace to us thru our faith in Christ’s perfect performance on the cross; however, a sinful lifestyle hinders a godly lifestyle and affects our power and our witness of Christ’s truths into the world thru us. While the world needs to understand grace, it also needs to realize Christ’s truths lead to the best life!!! Oh Jesus is so smart!!!
To remedy the grieving or quenching of the Holy Spirit in us over our sin, it is important to confess our sins to ourselves and to God. To “confess” means to agree with God about sin. Upon agreeing that sin is sin, it is important to “repent” which means to change one’s mind; to reverse the effects of the previous state of mind. This change of mind involves turning from sin and turning to God, looking to Him to refill us up fully as we move forward. Once we place our faith in Christ Jesus, we are forgiven for all sins, past, present and future. A one-time confession of our need for Christ saves us from the wages of sin forever and gives us eternal life as a child of faith in God’s kingdom of heaven!!! Our Father likes us to talk with Him about our sin struggles though to help us move forward the wiser, with correct perspective of what is right, accompanied by the reassurance of grace and strengthened by the support of our Father in heaven – just as a father with his child does here on earth. This act of confession or agreement with God should not be seen as a legalistic act of performance for acceptance, but rather relationally healthy – a step to staying close in relationship in our minds to our Father who loves us and forgives us, even when we fall short of what is doing right. We have probably all experienced that when we know we have someone who is upset with us, even though they may still love us, our upsetting action affects our relationship mindset with that person and talking it thru brings healing and improved relationship!!! Oh I always love seeing relationship healing and restoration thru truth, love and grace!!!
It is a true gift to be heard by God, to hear the voice of God and experience His power working through us!!! It is good to be fully hydrated or “filled to the brim” with the living water of the Holy Spirit and not just have “a drop in the bucket, so to speak!!!”
We need this anointing to run God’s road for our lives with His power in us. We would dry up spiritually without Him.
We can each ponder these thoughts:
- In what ways am I grieving the Holy Spirit by choosing sin over God?
- Am I praying for strength to overcome the sin?
- What other steps can I take to keep from committing this sin in my life moving forward?
- Have I rebuked the devil verbally, claiming the power and authority of Christ?
- Is there someone that Father would have me talk to about holding me accountable to help me have victory over the sin?
The sinful nature within us is strong, but praise be to God for His forgiveness and power over sin to help us have victory!!! He is super sweet, powerful and full of grace for us!!!
He tells us in 1 John 1:8-10 “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His Word has no place in our lives.” When we confess, it is saying we agree with God about what is sin and to repent is to turn and go the other way – away from sin. Unless we acknowledge to ourselves we have a sin issue, our mind will not see a need to go in a different direction. This is why it is healthy to confess (agree) with our Father. But all the time, our Father loves us and His grace not only covers us, but also can give us strength to live the Christian life as we look to Him!!!
Oh, Jesus life – it’s the divine life, the best life!!! Let us go for that, dear ones of faith!!! I’m trusting Jesus’ with you for victory in Him working in us to will and act according to His purpose!!! His grace always finds us wherever we are to restore us in the fullness of His Spirit as we look to Him as this song says here. Blessed are we to have our Father’s grace – never will He leave us (Hebrews 13:5) and nothing can snatch us from His hand as His kids of faith!!!
YAY!!! Oh that just makes me smile to know grace is always with us!!! 🙂 Divine sisterly love to ya’s wherever you are in life!!! Smiling to the brim for overflowing with joy about Father’s grace with ya’s!!!
Life happens!!! Amen??? (aka agree???) Oh so true in my life!!! How about you??? It has been happening ever since our Father created it for us as His dearly loved people of faith and that is certainly what the disciples of yesterdays discovered when they found themselves faced with life after Christ’s resurrection and they had great desire to speak as our Father’s bond-servants with ALL confidence, looking to our Father to extend His hand to heal and for signs and wonders to take place thru the name of Jesus!!!
Upon praying for that empowerment in a place where they were gathered together, it is said that the place where they were was shaken and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and they began to speak the Word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:29-31) Speaking our Father’s heart of love with boldness sure makes life heavenly!!! I love our Father’s heart for us and the world!!!
As the disciples found out, when we look to our Father and pray – SHAZAM!!! BE PREPARED FOR THE SUPERNATURAL TO KICK IN AND CHANGE YA INTO A BOLD, MIGHTY POWERFUL SAINT THAT IS CAPABLE OF DOING WHAT FATHER NEEDS US TO DO TO BRING HIM GLORY IN THE EYES OF PEOPLE!!! HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! That is my heart is to bring my sweet Jesus glory in my life and therefore, I can relate to the hearts of the disciples!!! Loving our Father, being willing to partner with Him, being prayed up and trusting in Jesus to do the amazing as He desires in us thru us and all around us is our job one and that mindset enables us to step into life having divine confidence and victory and power in Jesus!!! That is what happened to the disciples!!! They went from the place of knowing they needed help to do the divine life, asking for it and experiencing it personally!!! Oh when we ask for the divine life from Jesus – we can always expect it and expect it to be in His timing for each moment of our lives!!! It is called HOPE!!! Having Only Powerful Expectations!!!
Jesus does not ask His people to do anything for heaven’s kingdom that He isn’t going to support us in as we ask Him for divine help!!! It is good and healthy for us when we have a “wanna be divine for His glory, His kingdom purposes and the blessing of others” and to know we need Him to be a blessing on this earth, for with Him we can do all things thru Him who gives us strength and apart from Him, we can do nothing!!! He flat out changes us into supernatural saints as this song says here.
In whatever way He needs to move us to do His will, He knows how, is willing and is able to empower us!!! Therefore, we can always be confident in Father to see us thru all of life and oh that just makes me smile!!! I’m a gal trusting in Father and confident in Jesus with ya’s!!! Let’s pray and trust in Father to guide us victoriously always!!! His promise to us is “We are more than conquerors in all these things thru Christ Jesus who loves us.” (Romans 8:37) WE’VE GOT DIVINE SHAKIN’ GOING ON ALWAYS WITH JESUS!!! HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! HOW EXCITING IS LIFE WITH JESUS WHO IS ALWAYS WITH US AND WHO WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US!!! WHEW!!! THAT JUST GIVES ME ALL KINDS OF CONFIDENCE AND BOLDNESS AS HE LEADS ME!!! WE DON’T HAVE TO WORK FOR HEAVEN – IT IS ALREADY OURS THRU FAITH IN HIS FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS, BUT WHEN YOU REALIZE THE GREAT GIFT JESUS IS, YA JUST WANNA SERVE THE KING OF GLORY!!! OH I SOOO LOVE THAT WITH YA’S!!!
Awesome day it is here moving thru life with Jesus, dear ones!!! I have been inspired and determined to work on some projects this week with great motivation by our Father’s Spirit at work in me!!! His Holy Spirit is stirring up His Holy Spirit fire in me to do so and I know all the while that His heart is for my best moving forward and I am excited about the opportunity of learning new things and trying something new!!! I want to share that with you today because sometimes life does take some focused effort to accomplish the divine life and thru my experience, there are times when our Father really flares my heart to run after a particular accomplishment and then there are other times when He moves my heart to go in a different direction or way, to rest and maybe just be still to perhaps reflect. Then all of a sudden, He can fuel my heart up with inspiration to begin again on a project to bring it to completion!!! All of it is a gift of life and awesome in each stage of Father’s working in us, thru us and all around us!!! Life is a gift everyday and a divine adventure for sure!!! Life with Jesus just makes me smile!!! 🙂 It gets me up everyday with enthusiasm!!!
Life has variation for each of us and that is good and divine in our Father’s plan for us “to bring us good and not harm, to give us hope and a future” as He promises to us in Jeremiah 29:11 of His Word!!! Now how awesome is our Father and how exciting is all of that in a life!!! As I ponder these thoughts, I think of the scenario of one working with a horse to bring about within it, its true divine purpose in life. Unless the horse is moved out to try new things, to carry out certain tasks that perhaps it experiences for the first time, it will not learn thru those times and it will not ever reach its full potential in life, nor will it learn to listen and have respect for its master. All of life is a learning experience that takes us from glory to glory!!!
A horse that is “trusting” in its master will step out and do what it is asked to do by its master. A good horse master has ways of working with patience and perseverance to take the horse to a place of trust and divine light revelation and then victory can happen!!! HOOORRRAAAHHH!!! The scenario is the same truth with us and our Father in heaven!!! I share this to encourage you as I have been so greatly encouraged that we are always loved with unfailing, unconditional love by Jesus and if we will just trust in Him, He will bring about beautiful things in our lives and work thru us to bless others around us, too!!! Oh that thought just makes me smile!!! In closing with what Father’s heart shares with me, I encourage us wherever we are in life to:
- Trust and stay in relationship with God for the divine life to happen even if we don’t understand fully yet where it is leading to.
- Let us realize God doesn’t expect us to be perfect. He loves us as we are even though He is working to bring changes into our lives!!!
- Persevere in the divine running we know how to do during the tough times because it will bring victory as Father guides us and we can know He is working good thru those times!!!
- Treasure and be thankful for the sweet things that Father brings into our lives to show us His heart of divine love and care for us!!! 🙂 Let us be thankful for even the challenging times in life for we can know that Jesus always wants us to know He is for us and not against us and working good thru those times as His written Word says:
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all–how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)
I love this song here of Father’s love for us as His beloved children of faith!!! Let us take it to heart that we are loved and with that thought carried in mind with us, we can enjoy the divine adventure of moving to our awesome potential that Father is working to bring about in us thru all of our days until we are just like Him!!! This we can know!!! He sees us as His kids of faith in Him as holy and blameless, without accusation and without condemnation!!! (Romans 8:1) How exciting!!! LET’S GOOO GET THE DIVINE LIFE JESUS HAS FOR US!!! I’M GOING FOR IT WITH YA’S AND SOOO HAPPY TO BE!!!
Fill ‘er up, please!!! Oh that is a phrase I heard spoken to gas station attendants often as a little girl when I was with my parents in their car out of fuel. It is something that in some places you still hear today depending on if the law allows a person to fill their own fuel tank or if a hired hand is requested to do so. That ole E for empty is not something you like to see when you are out on a roadway with a long ways to go to the next city!!! I remember a time when I was traveling with others to an event that put us on the road for home late into the night and as we were riding along, the driver said “I should have filled up with gas before we left. Oh I hope the gas station in the next town has pumps working at 3:00am in the morning!!!” YIKES I SAID TO MYSELF!!! PRAYER TO JESUS WAS MY RESPONSE!!! I was praying and we were driving on fumes I am sure as we pulled into the station. The next question was will they take a credit card and sure enough, they did and we were able to get the empty tank filled up and we made it home to see the sun rise and the birds singing!!! NOW THAT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT TO SEE FOR SURE FROM HOME AND NOT STRANDED OUT ON THE ROADWAY!!! It was not the first time of being delivered thru prayer to Jesus, either!!! PRAISE JESUS!!! 🙂
As I ponder this memory, Father puts it upon my heart that every person has a fuel tank that can be empty and in need of a “fill up.” In fact, each one has a couple – one being the stomach that can at times seem like a bottomless pit when real empty or hungry physically and the second is the human heart and our Father tells us in His Word it is always in a state of needing divine spiritual fuel due to being empty with these voids:
- It desires unfailing love
- It is lonely
- It is fearful
- It has guilt
The antidote to all of these ill-feeling conditions is Jesus!!! He is the One who:
- Loves us thru our faith in Him perfectly
- Fills our voids or emptiness, our spiritual hunger
- Gives us peace that transcends all understanding
- Makes us brave and strong in Him
- Forgives us for sin, extending us unconditional love and grace thru faith in His perfect performance on the cross to give us victory from Satan our accuser who lies to us continually to empty our heart tank!!!
Let me ask you today as I ask myself, dear saint…how is your heart today??? Whatever our need, let us cast our cares on our Father, for He cares for us!!! He has many ways of providing just what we need as we turn to Him and trust in Him. I am doing divinely well today, but I appreciate the message of this song here that speaks of our need to always turn to Jesus when we need help filling the hole in our hearts and being reminded of who we are in Christ Jesus’ love and powerful energy!!! Let us look to Him to fill our hearts and pour out of His Spirit’s love to keep telling others of the source of their being filled with the fruit of Jesus’ Spirit within them thru faith, too. If someone has a sickness of heart, would we not want to help them??? Even beyond that, we can save them from death, giving them eternal life and all the fullness of the glorious riches of Christ’s love in His kingdom!!! All hearts need the good news of Jesus and Jesus can work thru anyone to help another!!! Let us as our Father tells us:
“…As I have loved you, so love one another.” (John 13:34)
How can you help add divine fuel to fill a heart needing filled up with Jesus where you are today??? Father has us where we are for divine reasons – “to help fill up” others with the good news that Jesus longs to pour into every heart to get them over the road of life to home safely and happy with the fullness of blessings in Him!!! 🙂 Happy travels to ya wherever you are!!! Let us seek not to leave those stranded with an empty heart tank that we see along our life’s way!!! All need the divine filling of Jesus as abundant heart fuel to keep going!!! When our hearts are full of Jesus, our heart motors are gonna be roaring for the going for Jesus with divine performance and energy!!! Have you ever heard the phrase of having a”tiger in your tank!!!” 🙂 Exxon used it as a corporate logo in years past.
Jesus is even greater than a tiger in yer tank; He just makes ya smile – He puts the smile in tigers, too!!! 🙂 See:
Making regular pit stops of quiet time with Jesus for refueling and He’ll keep us fueled up for moving with divine performance and energy along the road to our eternal destiny for sure!!! So let us be filled with Jesus and go rescue those stranded with empty tanks along the way of life!!! We can give them the premium fuel – the supreme fuel of Jesus!!! WOOOHOOO!!! ANOTHER WAY TO SAY THIS IS “GO GET ‘EM TIGER!!!” 🙂 ROARING OUT FOR JESUS WITH YA’S AND HAPPY MOTORING IN DOING SO!!!
